Colleen Fabling

Domestic Missionary

We at Vertical Church are so proud of the work Colleen does in her role as Safe House Ministry Manager for Eight Days of Hope. In this role, Colleen utilizes the skills God has given her to offer construction expertise, leadership and labor to ministries who are rescuing and restoring victims of human trafficking. Colleen is passionate about showing the love of Jesus to everyone who crosses her path. While Eight Days of Hope meets tangible needs, the number one goal is to share the Gospel and encourage people to look to Christ, so He can meet their eternal need.

My Heart For Missions

Jesus got a hold of my heart in the summer of 2012 while I was serving in North Carolina on a disaster relief trip with Eight Days of Hope. I fell in love with serving people and watching Jesus change lives in the midst of disasters. He can truly make broken things beautiful! Since then, I have served many years in the disaster relief world and have also spent some time serving in the Middle East and Central America. From 2018 - 2022 I had the privilege of serving as the director for Resurrection Ministries, a relief organization based in Virginia. Whether serving in the US or abroad, I have had the joy of seeing the Lord do amazing things through willing believers. Jesus never fails to make me fall more in love with Him as He provides relationships and opportunities that stretch my faith. Human suffering of all kinds opens the door to bring the hope of Christ, and I am humbled that I have been called to be His vessel. I truly love to see people come to know Him and I am so grateful for the team of supporters that makes this work possible. Thank you for considering joining my team and helping to bring the hope of Christ to those in need.

“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” Psalm 90:17
