About Chandler

Chandler grew up in Mississippi and still resides there today. She graduated from Mississippi State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Communications and Public Relations. She says that she just learned how to talk more! After college, Chandler accepted an internship at a missions sending organization in Tupelo, MS. During this time, she realized how important it is to be exactly where God wants you to be no matter what the cost. Her desire to serve Jesus - first and only -directed where she is today. The founder of Eight Days of Hope happened to have an office at the same location of her internship. After 7 months of interning, he offered for Chandler to become his assistant, and she is now the Director of Operations.

Eight Days of Hope

The mission of Eight Days of Hope is to love and serve those in need. This simple mission has allowed the organization to serve over 7,000 families after disaster and lead over 44,000 volunteers all over the country all in Jesus' name.

EDOH has two focuses, natural disasters and human disasters. After a disaster, EDOH leads volunteers to help pick up the pieces that are left after a tornado, hurricane, or flood has occurred. After a safe amount of time, EDOH returns to rebuild the homes in need. The second, is human disasters. Modern-day slavery is the fastest-growing organized crime in the world. Eight Days of Hope wants to do their part to help set people free. By using the skills God has given them, they offer construction expertise from start to finish to help build and renovate homes where survivors can be safe and free to start a new life. They partner with ministries who are rescuing and restoring victims of sex trafficking and offer skilled leadership and labor to help with their new construction or renovation project.
